Who is Thomas snyder?

Thomas Snyder, also known as Tomo, is a well-known sudoku player and former world champion. He was the winner of the 2006 World Sudoku Championship, which was held in Lucca, Italy. Snyder has since been recognized as one of the top sudoku players in the world, and has won several other international sudoku competitions.

In addition to his achievements in sudoku, Snyder is also known for creating and publishing many challenging sudoku puzzles for solvers of all skill levels. He is respected in the sudoku community for his contributions to the game, and continues to be a top-ranked sudoku player to this day.

Puzzle creation

Thomas Snyder, a renowned sudoku player and puzzle creator, has lent his talent to various puzzle-focused publications such as GAMES Magazine and Wired. He has written puzzles for various events, including the World Sudoku Championship, U.S. Puzzle Championship, MIT Mystery Hunt, Gen Con, and the Microsoft Puzzle Picnic.

In 2012, Snyder established his own publishing company, Grandmaster Puzzles, and published his first title, "The Art of Sudoku." He also relaunched his puzzle blog "The Art of Puzzles" and the Grandmaster Puzzles website at the end of that year.

Snyder boasts an impressive list of puzzle-solving titles, starting with his win at the 2006 U.S. Puzzle Championship. He has represented the United States ten times at the World Puzzle Championship, and was part of the winning US team on six occasions (2006-8, 2010–11, 2013). He was also the top individual performer at the 27th World Puzzle Championship, held in Prague in November 2018.
